We look forward to your participation in the Networking Conference SGBF AG on May 22, 2025 at the Campus Muttenz.

If it is assumed that societies are permeated and shaped by relations of power and inequality, then with regard to different educational contexts, educational spaces and educational processes, the question arises not only as to how these relations can be articulated, reproduced, broken and transformed. Furthermore, the relevant question is how the connection between education and society can be grasped and researched and how the study of these connections is itself permeated by relations of power and inequality, i.e. what it means to have intersectionally interconnected power under conditions of power and inequality - and research inequality.

The second networking conference of the “Education in Social Power and Inequality Relations” working group (BgMU) of the Swiss Society for Educational Research (SGBF) invites you to address questions of knowledge production in educational research.
