Conditions of Participation

  1. Scope

These general conditions of participation apply to the following event organized and hosted by
Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW, CIVIC:

THE BIRTHDAY PARTY & SLEEPOVER at CIVIC on June 13/14, 2023.

  1. Contents of the event

The event-programme will be available at whatiscivic.ch 

  1. Registration

Registrations to the event are to be submitted to CIVIC, HGK BASEL by online registration form, and will be confirmed by email. Upon receival of the confirmation, the registration becomes binding.

  1. Costs

Participation is free of charge.

  1. Participation

The format is aimed at students who are currently enrolled and have a valid student ID.

  1. Cancellation

Upon own cancellation, there is no further claim to join the event.

  1. Cancellation / Postponement by HGK Basel FHNW

If the event cannot take place due to unforeseeable circumstances, people who have already registered will be notified as soon as possible. There is no claim for compensation (service).

  1. Disclaimer

Participants on site do so at their own risk and responsibility. HGK Basel accepts no liability for accidents, loss of belongings or theft.

  1. Handling of data and copyrights

As regards the handling of data, the FHNW data protection regulations apply.

  1. Validity

These conditions of participation apply to the event on 13/14 June 2023 mentioned above.
