General Terms and Conditions for Participation in the Executive Education Offering of the FHNW Academy of Art and Design

1. Scope
These general conditions of participation apply to the following event organized and hosted jointly by HGK FHNW (FHNW Academy of Art and Design) and the Design History Society:

DHS Annual Conference 2021: Memory Full? Reimagining the relations between Design and History, 2-4 September 2021

2. Contents of the event
The conference programme will be available at as of mid-July. 

3. Registration
Registrations to the conference are to be submitted to HGK FHNW by online registration form, and will be confirmed by email. Upon receival of the confirmation, the registration becomes binding.

4. Costs
Ticket prices are divided into 8 categories; you will find the price list on our website.

Early Bird and Standard prices differ according to date of registration (before / after 31 July 2021). Claims to a preferential rate by DHS members will be reviewed. Payment will be settled by credit card.

5. Cancellation by participant
In case of cancellation on the part of the participant, there is no claim to reimbursement of paid tickets.

6. Cancellation / Postponement of programmes and offers, respectively, by HGK FHNW
In case HGK FNHW is forced to cancel the event, already paid tickets will be reimbursed by HGK FHNW. In case of a postponement, registered participants may withdraw their registration electronically within 14 days of receipt of the information. In this case, too, HGK FHNW will reimburse the costs of the ticket.

7. Handling of data and copyrights
As regards the handling of data, the FHNW data protection regulations apply.

8. Validity
The general conditions of participation come into force on 1 June 2021.
